WWII US M1 Helmet Swivel Bale
Item: WWII2517

Mid-war M1 helmet.  Has a front seam, stainless steel rim, swivel bales.  Chin straps are khaki sew-on with darkened fittings.  Original paint is OD with cork aggregate mixed in.  Only markings I can read on the shell are "968" to the front.  Has some surface oxidation to the inner crown.  Fine uncleaned and unaltered example.  No liner.
